Gratitude Shame

Let's drop the gratitude shame.

The other day in my stories I shared how in my short but very deep (that's what she said) meditation, I just broke down crying...

I had an incredible morning with my husband, cuddling + sleeping in till 8 on a Tuesday (totes out of the ordinary but needed), dancing around, and prepping for calls with clients that I just absolutely adore.

I felt so deeply connected to gratitude, I just wept and held my hands on my heart. And to my surprise, I was unapologetic about it. Old Taylor would have felt guilt + shame for creating this amazing life. New Taylor knows that creating my highest vibe life allows me to be my best for my loved ones, my clients, and to help guide others to their highest expression of life.

I want you to know that if you're in a season of feeling immense gratitude, first of all, that is amazing, and second of all, there's no need to apologize for that. You created that. Feel it + be in it. Relish it. Your abundance isn't taking away from anyone else's. There is enough to go around to everyone.

And if you're in a season of life right now where it's difficult to connect to gratitude, it's okay. It's easy to fall into the mindset dip of feeling shameful because we "really do have things to be grateful for" + for some reason, we just can't feel it. Sometimes we're just in it and need to be in it.

Again, say it with me… THAT IS OKAY!

There's nothing wrong with you if you encounter times of not feeling grateful. Growth is not about *avoiding* dips like this. Dips will always turn up on your journey. Growth is about shortening the span of time we are in the valleys and about giving yourself grace throughout the whole process.

Bottom line: There’s no need to apologize for where you are right now.

What's your relationship with gratitude?

Do you ever feel guilt or shame around it?
