Working Too Much & Too Little At The Same Time

No joke I had these two vastly different DMs this week:

1️⃣ "Boy, you take a lot of time off work. When do you ever get things done?"

2️⃣ "You need a break girl! Don't worry about that laptop while you're on vacation, work will still be there when you get back."

One insinuating that I don't work enough, and the other that I work too much.

While I don't owe an explanation to anyone as to how I choose to live my life or run my business, my brand is built on the mission to show you what's possible for you + your life. 🚀 If there's ever any experience or knowledge or lesson that I can pass on to you to help you not only get more aligned + substantial results, but also to help you truly live your best life + become your best, I will do so.

While both of these DMs came from good-hearted people, I thought it was interesting to see the contrast of how work is viewed. 🤔

As high achievers, it's easy to feel like we are constantly doing this balancing act between feeling like we're not working enough + feeling like we're working too much. 🥵

Over the last few years I've done so much inner work to decondition from hustle culture as well as the 9-5 work at a desk culture. ❌ And what that inner work gave me was an incredibly beautiful, intuitive + strategic work schedule for me + my goals. Yes sometimes that looks like working on *vacation*, sometimes that is a *work vacation*, and sometimes that is working on a Sunday at *home*. 🤷‍♀️ And it works so well for me!

This is your reminder to always reflect on what you want your work hours to be. In both how many hours you work and when/where you work. 😘😘😘

It's all a choice + YOU are the one who gets to choose. How beautiful!

I'm curious, tell me in the comments, what does your work schedule look like?
